Introduction
Khwopa is the historic name of this ancient town, Bhaktapur. And this college takes its name after the name of its ancient and meaningful name Khwopa. This is the one and only community based service oriented college in town. That has been governed by the local government, Bhaktapur Municipality. And the college was founded in 1999 AD.
Quality as well as practical education in affordable - probably cheaper fee rate, is its academic policy. At the present context of nation, education is being expensive and unaffordable for larger percentage of citizens. So to extend the facility of education as one of the basic need, this glorious institution has been committed with a specific mission: committed for people and professionalism. Although it has been established in the cultural city, Bhaktapur. It has already opened its wide gate and has invited the students from different sixty five districts. Still it is not enough to meet our motive.
Khwopa college is not only the academic platform of the varieties of students of various levels but also a good function where lecturer, professors, academicians and sensible parents can feel better academic serene their. So, we are always conscious of what we can offer the students. The college has provided various facilities like well equipped libraries, laboratories, well furnished and probably the best class room and extra co curricula. Good canteens, college bus and sports facility, latest methodologies of teaching learning equipments are auxiliaries. Moreover, the faculties of various sectors, visiting professors, medalists, professionals and academicians, combined efforts have stood college as a model of academic field. And its result percentage also reflects the quality.

Norms Facilities
Codes of Conduct
- Students must enter the college premises before 5 minute of the first bell.
- Students must not leave the class without any prior notice to the administration.
- Student’s attendance must be at least 90 percent of total class.
- Student must come to college with a neat and clean college uniform and proper hair cut.
- In case of absence, the leave application duly signed by parents on the following day must be submitted to the principal through the class lecture.
- Any student showing aggressive behavior towards lecturers/teachers/staffs will be expelled from the college.
- Students are liable to pay the cost of any damage if intentionally committed.
- Students are not allowed to bring and put on any jeweler items and other valuable things inside the college.
- If the student discontinues for a month without prior notice to administration, his/her name will be struck off. If he/she wants to continue, he/she must re-admit with full charge including monthly fees.
- Students must appear and pass all the exams conducted by the college.
- Only those students who are successful in pre board exam will be allowed to take TU board exam.
- Deposit will be refunded only to those students who completed entire academic course.
- Students are not allowed to enter and exit the class room while class is running.
- Use of mobile phone, mp3, FM etc are strictly prohibited within college building.
Evaluation
In course of enhancing the students’ academic capability through constant monitoring, Khwopa College regularly conducts various assignments and examinations in its academic schedules.
Assignments
Students are required to complete the assignments given by the Professor/Lecturers within the given time frame.
