About Us
Pokhara Technical School (PTS) was established in 1996 A.D. by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) with the goal of equipping Nepal’s rapidly growing tourism industry with trained and skilled professionals.
Academic Excellence with Real-World Training
In 2014, PTS introduced a three-year Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM)—the first of its kind in Nepal’s Western Development Region .
Since 2016, they’ve expanded offerings to include a PCL in Ophthalmic Science, developed in collaboration with Himalaya Eye Hospital, and an 18-month Pre-Diploma in Culinary Arts
PTS also offers a variety of vocational programs ranging from 1 week to 26 weeks in duration.
