Basanta Nursery was established in 1996 at Batulechour, Pokhara. Mr. Basanta Baniya worked as a gardener and a florist for 2.5 years in Japan before he returned to Nepal and started the business. Basanta Nursery was the first nursery established in Pokhara during those days when buying and selling flower was uncommon. Mr. Baniya used the skills he gained from Japan and trained many people. Today, we are very proud to be growers and sellers of various indoor/ outdoor plants, seasonal flowers, trees, decoration, cut flowers, garden design and maintenance, aquarium, and gift items. We also produce and sell our own organic fertiliser named "Sewa Fertilizers". Our shop is located at New Road (next to hotel DeepSagar) and nursery is located at Batulechour (Maidan).
