The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at Saraswati Multiple Campus (SMC), Kathmandu is a four-year undergraduate program affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) that prepares students for professional practice in social development and community service. The program focuses on social work theories, human behavior, social research, community development, and social welfare policies, along with fieldwork and practical training. Through classroom learning and supervised field placements, students develop strong skills in social intervention, advocacy, communication, and ethical practice. Graduates of the BSW program can pursue careers in NGOs, INGOs, social organizations, community development projects, and public service sectors, as well as continue higher studies in social sciences and social work.
