About Us
The Pentagon Education Network (PEN) operates Pentagon International College, which provides world-class education at three levels: elementary, secondary, and bachelor's. The Montessori-oriented Elementary school opened in 2014, while the +2 level program in Science, Management, and Humanities began in 2009.
The aim of the Pentagon College is to produce smart and competitive students who can face all future challenges. Apart from academic performance, it also aims at the overall development of the students. To achieve their aim, Pentagon College has trained, experienced, and dedicated faculties. Besides that, the college always ensures that the teaching-learning process is much more active and participatory. Apart from guest lectures and regular classes on subject matters, Pentagon also organizes various career counseling classes.
After receiving overwhelming support from parents and students for its proven outstanding outcomes, the institution expanded its bachelor level education program in Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2015. This program is affiliated with Nepal's oldest and most prominent university, Tribhuvan University. The college has quickly established itself as one of the best local sites for international education in the country.
Thousands of students are thriving in Medical, Engineering, BBA, and CA programs in Nepal and abroad, attesting to the quality of the well-established foundation they obtained at the Pentagon. Pentagonians have also topped IOE admissions tests, obtained multiple scholarships in the MOE-MBBS program, and achieved Board Top positions in NEB results, all of which are time-tested testaments to the college's educational excellence.
The college is situated at a prominent location in Tinkune, Kathmandu, along Ring Road. Because this position is the meeting point of three adjacent valley districts, students from all over the city can readily reach the premises.
Admission Guidelines
Plus two (+2) level, the following procedure is followed:
After the Publication of Secondary Education Examination(SEE) result by national examination board, Ministry of Education, Govt of Nepal, the college starts its process of admission. Tentatively, admission session (to Grade XI) starts in between the second of June and third week August every year. We don’t let Application Forms make available in advance prior to the publication of SEE result. After the result is released the college through its Dept. of Administration, brings admission schedule to public notice through leading national dailies, weeklies, televisions, FMs and College Notice.
Bachelor of Business Studies (4 Years Program)
The candidates should have a higher secondary or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized board or university with at least second division. And those who have studies Mathematics or Economics as a full paper at the +2 or equivalent level are eligible to apply for BBS.
Bachelor of Social Work (3 Years Program)
The candidates should have a higher secondary or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized board or university with at least second division is eligible to apply for BSW.
Eligible students are suggested to contact the college administration as soon as possible.
Montessori based Primary Level
Students are admitted in PG to class III. The age at the time of admission:
- In Grade I, age should be 6-7 years.
- In Grade II, age should be 7-8 years.
- In Grade III, age should be 8-9 years.
Admission forms and the school prospectus are available at the school office. A written admission test and interview will be conducted, and successful candidates are admitted on the merit basis. Once the student is admitted to school, admission fees including annual fees will not be refunded, however security deposits will be refunded.
The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission.
- Mark sheet of the final examination of the former school. (Not applicable to Play Group)
- Transfer Certificate/character Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Two copies of recent passport size photographs
- Other relevant documents as informed during admission time.
