The objective of the Bachelor of Nursing Program is to produce middle level nursing providers and leaders who are capable of independent judgment, functioning in a leadership positions in the hospital and community; teaching the junior students and conduct research in areas in of nursing.
AIM OF THE BACHELOR OF NURSING SCIENCE PROGRAMME
In accord with national health and educational goals the bachelor of nursing science programme is intended to prepare nurses as faculty for the training of basic and middle level nursing manpower and as care providers managers and supervisors in the community and in the hospitals settings:
Therefore, the overall aim of the bachelor of nursing science programme is to prepare nurses who can use independent judgment in making nursing decisions, function in leadership positions in the provision of health care in the hospital and community teach in nursing and other health programmes and conduct research studies in the clinical and community field areas of nursing practice.
