This three-year Proficiency Certificate Level program is designed to produce competent mid-level nursing personnel. The curriculum integrates foundational medical sciences, comprehensive nursing theory, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, and essential clinical skills. A significant portion of the program at Iwamura College of Health Science involves supervised clinical practice in hospital wards and community settings. Graduates become registered Staff Nurses, qualified to deliver direct patient care, perform nursing procedures, administer medication, and promote health education in hospitals, nursing homes, and community clinics, forming the backbone of the clinical healthcare workforce.
