The MA in Buddhist Studies program at Lotus Academic College is a two-year graduate-level degree affiliated with Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) . This academically inclined program provides intensive knowledge of Buddhism through the study of its history, philosophy, literature, art, and architecture . The curriculum covers Buddhist traditions including Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana, with special emphasis on Buddhism of Nepal Mandala . Students explore subjects such as History of Buddhism, Buddhist Religiosity and Teachings, Buddhism in Asia, Buddhist Pāli Literature, and Buddhist Art History and Iconology in the first semester alone .
