Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a major clinical specialty focused on women's health, encompassing pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and diseases of the female reproductive system. Clinical training includes antenatal care, management of normal and high-risk labor, performing deliveries (including cesarean sections), gynecological surgery (hysterectomy, laparoscopy), family planning, oncology, and infertility management. Through rotations in wards, operation theaters, and outpatient clinics, students acquire skills essential for providing comprehensive care to women throughout their lives.
