The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Nepal Ayurved Medical College is the core undergraduate program. It is a bachelor's degree affiliated with Tribhuvan University and recognized by the Nepal Ayurved Medical Council. The curriculum is structured according to the standards set by the Institute of Medicine (IOM).
Admission Requirements: Candidates must have passed and secured at least fifty percent marks in the PCL General Science (I.Sc. or 10+2) with Biology and other prerequisite science subjects, or in the PCL Health Science (Ayurveda) program.
Entrance Exam: Admission is contingent upon passing the centralized entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University. The exam is a single paper with 100 multiple-choice questions covering Zoology (20), Botany (20), Chemistry (20), Physics (15), and a specific subject (25).
