About Us
Department of Economics Education has been established since B. S. 2050 with the sole objective of producing different levels of teachers, trainers, education experts. The Department of Economics of Education has a special focus on the subject – matter covered by “Economics of Education” and “Teaching of Economics” with inputs from economics core courses and quantitative techniques to integrate education into the broader concept of human development.
The purpose of the Department is to provide advanced knowledge of economics education to produce good economics teachers and specialists of the related area. The specific objective of the Department is to establish the link between economics with education. Currently, the Department runs M.Ed. program in semester basis.
