The Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) program at Kathmandu University School of Management (KU SOM) is an innovative academic and professional program launched in July 2019 that deals with the wide range of public policy and public affairs . This program is designed to broaden public policy perspectives and sharpen the management skills of public sector professionals through a multidisciplinary approach . The curriculum at KU SOM is designed for young and mid-career professionals currently working or seeking careers in public service, private sector, non-profit, or other organizations . Eligibility requires at least three years of work experience with a bachelor's degree (minimum 45% aggregate) or six years of work experience with a bachelor's degree (minimum 40% aggregate) . Graduates gain the ability to understand and analyze complex public policy and governance issues, preparing them for leadership roles in public administration and policy-making institutions.
